East Branch and Lincoln Railroad, Bill Gove Collection Franconia Branch at Junction with East Branch, 1903. This bridge was built in 1902 and abandoned in 1911. The Bldwin #3, on the trestle was built 1893 and scrapped in 1931. The lower deck of the bridge was for horses heading into the woods, but they wouldn't cross it and had to be led.
